It is with great excitment that we welcome Gregg Wilson to the Trainer staff at CrossFit Rocks as of the 1st March 2012. Gregg has finished his internship and will now be on the floor as a trainer. You will be hard pressed to find a person more fired up on CrossFit then Gregg. He has proved himself to not only be a great athlete but a great trainer too. Welcome to the team Gregg and all the best for the future.
Please note that the athlete briefing will now be on Thursday night 7:15pm not wednesday night as the open workouts are not going to be released until Thursday lunchtime
“Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, c&j, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense.
